Welcome to the homepage of the AI Technology Research Center.
The AI Technology Research Center is a human-centered research institute exploring the fundamentals and ethics of technology and preparing for a sustainable future in terms of industry and society. We conduct research based on the belief that AI should be more than just a tool for improving industrial efficiency and competitiveness, rather serving as basic technology to achieve social inclusiveness and public accountability.
The center is mainly focused on developing technologies that boost the key capabilities of AI, including those related to explainable AI (XAI), agentic AI, physical AI, ethically aligned large language models (LLM), privacy-preserving learning, healthcare AI foundation models, and inclusive AI applications, under the purpose of building an AI ecosystem where problems in industrial settings can be solved and responses to varied social demands are made in reliable ways.
In addition, we intend to establish sustainable and extensible AI technology infrastructure that businesses and the public sector can both utilize based on the balance between technological expertise and social responsibility. This way, we will facilitate the digital transition of domestic industries and society in general and solidify our position as a leader in human-centered technological innovation.
