Designing the future of education with AI for humanity

We sincerely welcome visitors to the AI EduTech Center.

Despite the breathtaking speed of technological development, education still provides the most fundamental linkage between people and society. We pursue education design focused not on technology but humanity in an effort to deepen and refine this linkage.

The AI EduTech Center designs and develops customized AI-based learning systems and sustainable learning environments, in close alignment with educational settings encompassing public education, business education, and lifelong education. We do not stop at the mere adoption and application of existing technologies. We design and build specialized educational AI to support self-directed learning regardless of age, vocation, region, and educational purpose.

Today, education is much more than just the delivery of knowledge. It is a process of developing the ability to shape the future together. The AI EduTech Center aims to serve as a trustworthy foundation for leading the transition of education and innovation to connect technology, humanity, and society. The center will establish an organic cooperation system comprising academia, industry, educational settings, and policy, jointly designing the future of education with the help of AI.

Research Areas

  • 01 Design and development of an AI system for education
    • Development of an AI tutor, AI evaluation tools, and a generative content design system optimized for educational purposes
    • Research on adaptive learning algorithms responding to the cognitive and emotional characteristics of learners and an evaluation system
    • Development of multimodal data-based technologies for real-time learning analysis and intervention
    • Advancement of existing learning management systems (LMS)
  • 02 Design of personalized full life-cycle AI education
    • Development of AI learning support models for different life stages, from young children to the elderly
    • Establishment of a reeducation system for middle-aged people and an inclusive learning system for people with multicultural backgrounds or disabilities
    • Development of educational content applying AI to close digital literacy gaps
  • 03 Program for AI-related job competency development in different industries
    • Designing AI learning based on growth paths in different jobs and establishing a project-based learning system focused on actual job experience
    • Development of AI-based learning tools that provide real-time feedback and self-directed learning
    • Research on AI mentoring models supporting job rotation and adaptation of new and experienced workers

    • Designing a convergence curriculum comprising AI ethics based on humanities and social sciences as well as data literacy
